Employment/Recruiting |
SIL is committed to fair and accessible employment practices. · Every employer shall notify its employees and public about availability of accommodations for people with disabilities it its recruitment process · We will add accessibility statement in our ads. We will recruit in a number of ways; resume submission via lawn signs, electronic format, walk in, application · During the recruitment process we will notify job applicants when selected to participate in an assessment or selection process that accommodations available upon request in relation to materials or processes to be used. If accommodation is requested, employer shall consult with applicant to arrange for the provision of suitable accommodation that take into account the applicants accessibility needs due to a disability · Phone scripts will be developed for recruitment purposes · We will set up a time for phone screening so applicants can prepare · When making offers of employment, we shall add a statement to the offer letter, informing the successful applicant of our policies for accommodating employees with disabilities |

Design of Public Spaces |
SIL will meet accessibility laws when building or making major changes to public spaces.
